Dr. Sakai received his dental training at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California.

Before working at Waikiki Health, he had a humbling experience working at the Los Angeles Christian Health Centers in downtown Los Angeles. He served as a dentist treating the homeless and under-served community of “Skid Row.” He is excited to be part of Waikiki Health’s dental team and is enjoying his time getting to know the community through addressing their dental needs. He hopes he can take what he has learned in “Skid Row,” and make a positive impact in the lives of those living in the Waikiki/Moiliili community.
