Waikiki Health is seeking a full-time Maintenance Specialist.
Pay range for this role is $18 to $23 per hour.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.

The Maintenance Specialist performs needed repairs and improvements at Keauhou Shelter. Ability to work under minimal supervision is required.

Qualifications and abilities

• Must have a valid driver license.
• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in repair and maintenance work, including 1 year of experience working with plumbing and electrical work.
• Must be organized and able to complete all assigned tasks.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds from the ground.
• Must be proficient in the latest version of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

General Duties include but are not limited to

• Responsible for shelter facility repairs and improvements.
• Ensure that laundry facilities and machines are working properly.
• Coordinate repairs, services, and payment with outside vendors.
• Maintain a professional relationship with clients, staff, and outside vendors.
• May be required to travel to other facilities as needed.
• Assist Housing First Manager in ensuring compliance of the facility.
• Must always be able to adhere to Waikiki Health sites’ safety protocols and regulations.
• Serve as department representative for Waikiki Health Safety Committee.
• Other duties as assigned.
