Waikiki Health is seeking a full-time Human Resources (HR) Director.
Starting pay rate of $90,000 annually.
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 40-hour work week

The HR Director is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the Human Resources and credentialing.

Qualifications and abilities

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or up to ten years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-3 years supervisory experience required.
• Demonstrated abilities in human resources operations and administration.

General Duties include but are not limited to

• Annually reviews and makes recommendations to Management for improvement of Waikiki Health policies, procedures, and practices on personnel matters.
• Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities in personnel matters.
• Directs and oversees employee relation cases including but not limited to, conducting investigations, mediations, and conflict resolution.
• Oversees the submission of annual liability insurance renewal for health center through the Federal Tort Claims Act and regularly updates MIEC on provider status for gap coverage.
• Reviews, approves, and submits insurance claims involving workers compensation and temporary disability.
• Other duties as assigned.
