Aimee Franson, PsyD
Dr. Franson sees patients for mental/behavioral health concerns, including anxiety disorders, personality disorders, trauma or depression; others have a history of substance abuse/ dependence, sex offenses, or are severely mentally ill (SMI). She also facilitates the HIV support groups at Waikiki Health.
“I like the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients,” Dr. Franson says. “I also enjoy being able to help underserved populations that often have limited resources and opportunities in the community. My passion is helping people.”
Dr. Franson earned her Doctorate of Clinical Psychology degree from the American School of Professional Psychology/Argosy University-Honolulu. She is a certified Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Instructor through the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI). Prior to joining Waikiki Health in 2011, she worked as a Clinical Psychologist at Hawaii State Hospital.
