Jane Stinson, FNP-BC, Rx
Jane is currently admitted to the University of Hawaii at Manoa Doctor of Nursing Practice Program in the School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene. As a Waikiki Health staff member, her responsibilities center on serving clients of Care-A-Van, providing primary and episodic care to the homeless population in clinical and outreach settings. Jane previously worked for Waikiki Health’s Ohua Clinic as an RN; then as the Clinic Coordinator, writing the first Policy and Procedure and Clinical Guideline Manuals with the agency’s Medical Director, Dr. Kalauawa; and then with the Care-A-Van Program as a Family Nurse Practitioner. In addition to working for Waikiki Health, Jane also served as nurse practitioner (NP) for Waimanalo Health Center’s Women’s Health Clinic; Nurse Practitioner for the State of Hawaii Department of Corrections; and as a Physical Assessment Specialist evaluating current employees and new hires for the City and County of Honolulu.
