Keauhou (Keauhou means “a new beginning”) is located at 1020 Isenberg St. in Honolulu (Map). We accept walk-ins and referrals based on availability. Walk-ins can come as early as 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, to check for availability. If space is available, staff will complete the admission paperwork by 2 p.m. at the latest.

Keauhou provides emergency housing using the Housing First model, which allows us to enroll clients directly from the street and assist them once they are housed. Keauhou accommodates 75 clients in a dormitory-style arrangement with shared bathrooms and showers, as well as shared kitchen and laundry spaces.

Services include:

• Emergency shelter for couples and individuals
• Housing placement assistance
• Job training
• Obtain documents (State ID, social security card, etc.)
• Mail services

Eligibility Criteria:

Homeless or at risk of being homeless.
